I feel the necessity to question two of your hates: flu shots and white boards.
Also I have to question is 'the grammys' really technology? Unless i'm not following as to what you mean, I wouldn't consider 'the grammys' technology. And if so well then it must be the greatest invention since the time of DaVinci.
The thing I hate most about white boards is that you never know where you stand with them. When you look at a chalk board you can see if there is any chalk on the tray. If there is a two inch piece of chalk, then you can write two inches worth. You would never see three pieces of chalk and take the cap of off all of them and find that they didn't work. You also wouldn't pick up a piece of chalk and write on the chalkboard, only to find out later that it was permanent chalk. (So I guess my true beef is with the white board markers, not the board itself.)
I got a flu shot for the first time a few weeks ago and it made me violently ill within six hours.
I can understand that. A common occurrence here at the office, in one of our conference rooms, is for someone to try all the markers. When they find that none of them work, all are returned to their original position on the tray. I do this all the time. I don't know why though.
In regards to flu shots, I got a flu shot for the first time this year. The last few days I've had a really bad running nose which is always the prelude to a fever for me. Fortunately, I have not even had a sore throat. Whether there is any correlation, I don't know. But for the sake of making me feel empowered, I'll assume that there is.
The grammys aren't a technology last time I checked
